IT’S the big FA Cup game on Sunday as Eastbourne Borough entertain league side Blackpool.

This would normally be a huge money spinner for Boro but of course sadly there are no fans.

So Blackpool supporters are kindy donating money to make it a bigger day for the Boro.

Blackpool say: “Weʼre raising £2,000 to help Eastbourne Borough FC raise funds they are missing out on by not being allowed fans into the biggest game in the club’s history.”

Borough are delighted.

They said: “Eastbourne Borough are facing the biggest game in their history on Sunday 8th November 2020 and very sadly will play it in an empty stadium.

We have been contacted by some Blackpool suporters to see if we will set up a just giving page so they can donate towards the revenue that this tie would have generated for our club.

As a small community club we can not thank Blackpool enough for their support and for showing us the true spirit of the FA cup!

We can not wait to welcome your team to our club on Sunday.”
