YOU can sign a Book of Condolence today in Eastbourne to remember Prince Philip.
In a statement issued by the royals via social media, it was confirmed that Prince Philip passed away this morning at Windsor Castle.
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle,” reads a Twitter post.
Now churches in Hampden Park are giving everyone the opportunity to sign a Book of Condolence.

It says: “We give thanks for the life of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. We pray for the Queen and the Royal Family that they might be comforted in their grief.
Our churches of St Peter and St Mary will be open from 3pm ’til 5pm today and then daily from 9am-5pm until the funeral for you to pay your respects.
A book of condolence is available in each church for you to write a personal message- these will be collected and archived in due course.
Candles will also be available for you to light.(Please wear a mask, use sanitiser, and keep social distancing whilst in our churches.)”
