Eastbourne Borough Council last night backed down after she was told to leave the site by B and Q in Hampden Park where she has been for 29 years.
The council was clear: You must go because Costa is moving onto the site.
Within hours, it had reversed its decision.
Eastbourne LibDems were claiming the credit – yet the council is run by the LibDems. Shamoblic comes to mind.
The most important thing is that Sharon can now stay.
