Members and guests can have their work critiqued by international best-selling author Tamara McKinley – and maybe win a tenner – at the Anderida Writers meeting TONIGHT (Tuesday, May 14th) in the Orangery Suite of the Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne, kicking off at 7.30 pm.

Anderida chairman Tony Flood says: “Everyone attending can read out an extract from their work (published or unpublished) up to 600 words, and whoever is judged to be the best by our patron Tamara McKinley will receive £10.

“Those present are encouraged to give feedback or simply sit back and be entertained.”
Entries for the annual Anderida Short Story and Poetry competition, on any theme, need to be submitted by Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.
There will be cash prizes of £60 for the winner of the short story section and £50 for the poetry section plus other prizes.
Entries will be read out by actors Brian Capron and Sue Thacker and voted upon by members present, at the meeting on Tuesday, July 9th in the Hydro Hotel at 7.30 pm.
