THERE are 15 people sleeping rough in Eastbourne according to the borough council.
The council says it has been offering temporary accommodation to anyone sleeping rough in Eastbourne and working with them to find a longer term home.
It says: “Alongside our partners Southdown Housing Association we closely monitor the number of people sleeping rough.
At the latest verified count there were 15 people sleeping rough in Eastbourne – we’ve offered support to all of these people, including through several outreach sessions in the last week.
