DRUSILLAS Park in East Sussex will be opening its doors once more from 10am tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd December 2020. As animal lovers excitedly prepare to visit the award-winning zoo and finally get into the Christmas spirit, Drusillas Directors are reminding visitors of important safety guidelines.

Over the past week Drusillas Park has been a hive of activity as staff ensure the attraction is ready to reopen. Drusillas have worked hard to maintain their high standards of Covid safety and will be continuing to make safety a priority once they reopen on Wednesday.

Deputy Managing Director, Cassie Poland, said: “We have worked really hard to train our staff and make sure they practice good health and safety both for themselves and our visitors. We will continue to ensure social distancing is adhered to and the rules and regulations of tier two are complied with.”

“We are all really looking forward to Christmas, but we must remember to keep abiding by the safety rules. We also gently remind everyone to be kind to each other and behave responsibly. Everyone has different comfort zones; some people will be a lot more cautious and worried than others and it’s important to respect this.”

“If you want to read everything we have done to make Drusillas COVID-secure please just visit our website www.drusillas.co.uk and view either our FAQ’s page or Staying Safe at Drusillas Page.”

Drusillas will be open as usual from 10am – 5pm, with last entry at 4pm. Visitors are strongly advised to book tickets online in advance by visiting the Drusillas website. Tickets can be purchased up to 11:59pm the day before your visit.

Deputy Managing Director, Cassie Poland, said: “We are really excited to be reopening, in all honesty we can’t get to Wednesday quick enough! We can’t wait to be finally able to celebrate the festive period with all of our visitors and to settle into a bit of normality.”

“Santa will be visiting, our Christmas tree is up and our doughnut factory is gearing up to serve mince pies on the weekends. Our little elves have been busy behind the scenes, sprinkling around lots of Christmas magic.” For full details of what’s on at Drusillas this Christmas please visit: www.drusillas.co.uk/christmas-events
