COVID-19 vaccinations move to Hampden Retail Park on Tuesday.

They will no longer be using the Welcome Building.

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is relocating its Covid-19 Vaccination Centre at The Welcome Building in Eastbourne to the former Mothercare shop in Hampden Retail Park, Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne, from Tuesday 1 June.

The NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme continues to make strong progress across Sussex. Thanks to the commitment and dedication of all of those involved more than 1million people across Sussex will have received their first vaccination by the end of this week. The vaccination centre at The Welcome Building in Eastbourne has played a huge part in the success of the vaccination programme.

Now, as the country moves out of lockdown restrictions and organised sport is allowed to return to that site, there is a need to relocate the vaccination centre to another central location – the former Mothercare shop at Hampden Retail Park, Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne.

The centre will be operational at the new site from Tuesday 1 June 2021.

Vaccination appointments, for those eligible, will continue at The Welcome Building until Monday 31 May. From Tuesday 1 June, all appointments will take place at the former Mothercare shop.

People who have appointments booked for the Welcome Building on or after Tuesday 1 June  are currently being contacted by text message and email and informed about the change of location for their vaccination.

All booked appointments on or after 1 June will go ahead at the same date and time, just in the new location.

Eligible people who want to book their vaccination appointments can do so by calling 119 or visiting

The same contact details can also be used by people who want to rearrange their appointments.
