Supported lodgings is one of the many types of fostering offered with East Sussex County Council.

As a supported lodgings provider, you could use your experience to help young people (16 to 21) to learn the practical skills they need to thrive and live independently.

A safe home, full of kindness, guidance and patience can make a huge difference to a vulnerable young person’s future… could you offer this in your house?

You need a spare room and the life skills to enable you to help build the confidence of a young person so they can:

– learn to cook, do housework basics and shop to a budget

– manage money and organise appointments

– get into training, work or education

– have conversations about relationships

We need more supported lodgings providers in this area now and guarantee you a generous weekly allowance. We are with you every step of the way with a whole dedicated team for your training and support 24/7.

“How do I find out more?”

Give us a call for an informal chat or send in an enquiry form (details below). You can continue to work alongside your application and when you’re providing supported lodgings too.
