DANNY Sadler is running seven marathons in seven days for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
He’s doing it because the Eastbourne hospice is caring for his mother, who has terminal brain cancer.
He starts on February 1. Danny’s fundraising target was £2,000 but it already stands at £2,768.
Danny said: “I’m running 7 marathons in 7 days to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne.
My mum was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer Christmas 2019 and has been in the hospice’s care.
They’ve ensured my mum has what she wants and needs the day after we’ve asked for it and they’ve really helped make my mum’s life easier.
I’m doing this as a way of giving back, while my mum continues the fight and needs more and more of their care,
I’d like to think that the money raised is helping that happen directly and my mum will benefit from it.
Any donations are greatly appreciated, the Marathons will start on Monday, 1st February.”
