EASTBOURNE RNLI was paged on Friday at 1.50pm to launch the Inshore Lifeboat and tasked to assist Police and Local Coastguards with an incident at Eastbourne Pier.
The incident was brought to a conclusion with the distressed casualty being taken into the care and safety of Police Officers on scene.
