ANOTHER warning has been issued about doorstep traders.
This happened yesterday (Monday) in Herstmonceux.
Here’s the post: “Have just had a doorstep trader claiming to be part of an ex-offenders rehabilitation scheme come to us (Church Road) and was very verbally aggressive when advised it was private property and we didn’t entertain door to door sales.
Tried to force his way up to my neighbours’ flats even when advised no one here would be interested.
Claimed to have ID but flashed it too quick to verify. Could be genuine but he really wasn’t very pleasant regardless! Google says this could be a scam so please be aware as he was making his way back down Church Road!”
