A driver ‘tried to do a runner’ after failing a roadside breath test in Langney Point last night.
It happened just before 6pm as police arrested a male in Middleton Drive for failing the roadside breath test.
He tried to do a runner, but was caught a few moments later, and is currently in custody.
Police said: “We will continue to take action against those who misuse our roads.
