EASTBOURNE AM Rotary Club has staged its annual Breakaway weekend.
It works with SASBAH – The Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus based at Gun Hill, Chiddingly- on the project.
It’s a weekend away for 25 people with disabilities or extra needs.
Rotary funds the majority of the weekend.
Rom Sanglaji is CEO of SASBAH.
He said: “Members of the SASBAH community really needed this weekend after the challenges of Covid.
“Breakaway is a great partnership between Rotary and a charity, making a real difference to people’s young lives.”
The weekend away was at Lodge Hill near Pulborough in West Sussex. Activities included abseiling, on the zip wire and other very challenging activities.
