CARE for the Carers – based in Eastbourne – says adult carers can now get their Covid jab.

It has advised today: “The NHS COVID-19 Vaccination programme is now open to eligible adult carers – carers who are eligible for a carer’s allowance, or those who are the sole or primary carer of an elderly or disabled person who is at increased risk of COVID-19 mortality and therefore clinically vulnerable.

Eligible carers will be contacted by the National Booking System with information on how to book their vaccination.

Find out eligibility and further information on our website here: https://www.cftc.org.uk/covid-19-vaccine-faqs-for-carers…

We are working with Sussex health and social care partners to support this process and will update you on this soon, please bear with us during this time.”
