A 17-YEAR-OLD girl who was spotted trying to climb out of a bedroom window during a police raid has been found not guilty of supplying cocaine and diamorphine.

University student Charlotte Godwin, now 20, had gone on trial at Hove Crown Court accused of possessing the Class A drugs with intent to supply. She had denied the charges.

The court had heard Ms Godwin had met Paul Olabisi from London on Instagram and invited him to her home for sex.

Police later raided her address in Ashford Road, Eastbourne, on July 22, 2019, after they became suspicious a car parked outside had earlier been used during a drug deal in the town.
