Eastbourne Police, RNLI and Coastguards were called out to search for a ‘missing person’ this morning.
Here’s Eastbourne RNLI: “Our Volunteer Crew were paged today at 08.30 hrs and requested to launch the Inshore Lifeboat.
They were tasked to assist Police and Local Coastguards with a search to reports of a missing person.
Having carried out a thorough search and with nothing found our Volunteer Crew were stood down with thanks and returned to station.”
