AN Eastbourne restaurant is launching its own Gin.

And it will be aptly named Saviour.

Perch Princes Park says it has been forced to look at other ways of operating now that its doors are closed.

It is still serving takeways.

A spokesperson said: “We are going to use some of the profits from this Gin to underwrite our Perch fund (www.perch.team).

“We are working with a distillery to produce a tremendous dry London Gin with a recipe to give the profile of the Gin a distinct citrus flavour.

“We are a few weeks away from getting the stock in (it’ll be before Christmas), but we’ve been working on how we want the bottles to look.”
