IT was a busy day for the Eastbourne RNLI.
First, the Volunteer Crew were paged yesterday at 7pm and were requested to launch the All Weather Lifeboat.
They helped a 9 Metre yacht that had suffered mechanical failure in the Cooden Beach area.
The All Weather Lifeboat went to assist the yacht due to the danger of running aground in the falling tide.The casualty was towed safely back into Sovereign Harbour.
Later, they then were called to assist a broken down jet ski requiring assistance.
The Volunteer Crew were quickly on scene and assisted the jet ski safely back ashore.
