EASTBOURNE RNLI Volunteer Crew were paged yesterday (Saturday)l at 12.20 hrs and requested to launch the Inshore Lifeboat.
The Lifeboat was launched to assist a 6 metre angling boat with 2 persons on board in a position half a mile south of the Inshore Lifeboat Station.
When on scene, it was confirmed the two persons were safe and well and that the vessel had suffered engine failure.
The vessel required a tow and assistance back to the beach at the Angling Club where it had set off from earlier in the day.
