Gill Mills, Director of Eastbourne Samaritans, has been talking to Eastbourne MP Caroline Ansell about the pandemic.

Gill pointed out that the pandemic has had an impact on people’s mental health and as restrictions slowly ease, they would like to get back to doing some of the Outreach activities that they have enjoyed doing previously and be present at local events when they happen.

Gill explained  “Whether you are a business, charity or small enterprise we can assist you and your employees by presenting our Learn to Listen workshop which helps everyone become better listeners.

“Our Outreach also extends to schools and universities where previously we have been given the opportunity to talk about the Samaritans our confidential, non-judgemental service and understanding and challenging the social elements that impact suicide.”

If you are planning a future event and you would like The Samaritans to be there, you can email
