AN Eastbourne school has warned students and parents to be alert after ‘reports of inappropriate behaviour’ by a middle aged man.

St Catherine’s College, situated in Priory Road, issued the appeal yesterday morning.

A spokesman said: “Earlier this morning, a middle aged man was displaying some antisocial behaviour across Etchingham Road, outside the Rutland Court flats.

“We do not know who this man was, however he was displaying illegal and worrying behaviour.

“This has been reported to the Police.

“Please stay vigilant and if you see any antisocial behaviour please phone 999 immediately and inform school.

“We have also been made aware of a woman being approached by a man in a car whilst walking by Faversham Road.

“If you have any concerns please contact kguppy@stcatherines.college.”
