NEW data today shows that Eastbourne has the fastest Covid fall in Sussex.
Eastbourne now has an infection rate of 593.8, down from 881.0.
But we are still the 14th worst affected area in England, having recorded 616 new cases in the seven days to January 23.
Rates in every district in Sussex are dropping, and England’s average is also on the decrease.
The national average is now 386.6.
