Eastbourne’s First Vintage Festival – which took place over the August bank holiday weekend – was a huge success with over 24,000 visitors attending over the four days.

The three Open-air Movies nights, which showed Grease, The Greatest Showman and Mama Mia were filled to maximum capacity and enjoyed by all.

The Festival gave so many the opportunity to come to one of Eastbourne loveliest parks and enjoy excellent live music, a large variety of all sorts traders, vintage cars, a small vintage children’s funfair and so much more.

The organisers of the festival Carrot Events decided to make the Festival a FREE entry one, as they wanted to see as many people and families as possible out having fun after 19 months of Covid-19 restrictions, and fun thousands of you did have.

The organisers would like to thank the thousands of you who attended the festival many of you who came from as far away as London, Kent and Hampshire to support the town’s first Vintage Festival and it also wishes to thank all the amazing entertainers who appeared without receiving any fee, because they too in their own way wanted to support the many communities of East Sussex’s return to open air events.

We will be back, even bigger and better for the 2022 August Bank Holiday Weekend.
