EASTBOURNE’S Bandstand returns from 23 April, featuring a summer of live music from tribute acts, brass bands and more!
Showing no signs of slowing down, the busiest Bandstand on the planet will see an additional 30 shows added to it’s performance calendar to become it’s biggest season ever!
Eastbourne Borough Council Lead Cabinet Member for Tourism and Enterprise, Councillor Margaret Bannister said “We are thrilled to announce that the much loved performances at the Bandstand will return in 2021 after a year of cancellations.
Music lovers can enjoy performances at the iconic seafront venue throughout the summer, but the fun doesn’t stop there. We are pleased to announce that from 15 October Eastbourne’s Bandstand will be going on tour!
We will be bringing the classic Bandstand experience to the newly refurbished Winter Garden Theatre in the Devonshire Quarter throughout the winter until March 2022.
As ever, public safety is the number one priority and we will continue to keep up with the latest guidance to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the Bandstand in a safe way.”
Audiences can look forward to a jam-packed weekend schedule come rain or shine from 15 October 2021 – March 2022 in the newly refurbished Winter Garden Theatre with Eastbourne Bandstand on Tour. Featuring ever popular tribute acts including ELO, Madness and Queen, the new venue offers plenty of space for seating and dancing.
Friends of the Bandstand will benefit from discounts at the Winter Garden Theatre bars and the DQ Terrace Bar and Café, in addition to their existing benefits. A 3 year Friends of the Bandstand membership costs just £5.
Tickets go on sale for the 2021 season from 1 December (1 November for Friends of the Bandstand) and can be purchased, alongside a Friends of the Bandstand membership, at www.eastbournebandstand.co.uk
