THE Old Town Cafe in Eastbourne has opened.
It was closed for more than six months due to Covid-19.
It is run by the JPK Project and has been rebranded as the Palm Court Tea Room, ‘The Old Town Café’,
Dignitaries from Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council, John Pritchett BEM, Chairman to the Council and Fran Pritchett, Councillor, visited on the opening day to support the worthwhile charitable cause of providing opportunities to adults with learning disabilities.
Trustees chair Jill Parker said: “Fran and John Pritchett have been long standing supporters of the JPK and kindly support the JPK Project each year with a grant for our work which benefits the whole community.
“This year they have donated £2,000 towards upgrading our disabled facilities with the refurbishment of our Accessible Toilet.
“The donation made it possible to complete the building and refurbishment work during ‘lock down’. We are indebted to them.”
