AN EASTBOURNE restaurant growing in popularity has been reflecting on tough new rules for the hospitality industry brought in because of Covid 19.
All cafes, pubs and restaurants will be closing at 10pm.
Perch Princes Park only opened recently and has been receiving glowing reviews.
A spokesperson said today: “Ok, so another round of changes. For us, it’s not going to be a huge departure from what we are doing currently, it’s the same lower volume of tables as we’ve had over the past couple of months.
“It appears you will have to wear a face mask when you are moving throughout the place.
“Right now, it feels bleak, another restriction, another set of changes to get used to.
“We’ve been humbled by the support we have received since opening – we are hugely appreciative, it’s been an anxious time for everyone, across all industries.
“We know of several significant casualties in hospitality.
“We’ve had to re-examine what we do, how we do it. We’ve had to encourage each other along; we are determined that this is going to be a story of resilience.
“When the rules change again, we’ll find another way of serving you.
“Our thoughts are already on Christmas and how we can make that ace.
“We strive to get through to greener pastures.”
