EASTBOURNE Oktoberfest is going ahead next month but at a slightly delayed time.

The popular event was due to take place on October 3. at the Kings Centre in Hampden Park.

But it has now been put back to October 24.

The good news is, despite Covid, it will still be going ahead.

A spokesman said: “The events team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you the biggest party night of the year.

“Because of the current government guidelines we have had to limit the numbers attending and also change our seating plan to tables only.

“So you can choose from tables of 4, 6 and a small amount of 10 seaters.

“Tickets will be on sale from 6pm today with a full table plan to choose where you want to be seated, table prices will vary depending on the size of your group and the position in the arena.

“Act fast because this event will sell out quickly and if you want the best tables in the house you must be first in the queue.

his event will be completely COVID-19 friendly with all the up to date government guidelines being strictly followed for everyone’s safety.
