THE Towner Arts Gallery wants to provide more creative activities for those suffering the greatest hardship and isolation this winter.

During the spring and early summer lockdown, it distributed over 1000 free packs of creative activities and art materials to families and individuals in Eastbourne and Seaford.

The Towner says: “Many of you generously supported this project, helping to improve life in lockdown for many people.

Thanks to you and our amazing partners, Eastbourne Foodbank, Community Stuff, the Association of Carers, Holding Space, 3VA, Brighton Women’s Refuge (in Eastbourne), Eastbourne Networx supporting refugees/asylum during this difficult time.

“As we enter a second lockdown, we are designing and distributing a new series of activity packs that will make life a little better for the most vulnerable families in Eastbourne and Seaford.

“Each pack will include four editions of different activities that encourage people to step outside and find natural materials to create and make.

“We all know that being outdoors brings many health benefits and reduces anxiety and depression, so please help us encourage people to get creative and enjoy a sense of wellbeing. Thank you.
