THERE are complaints on social media this afternoon of a woman – reportedly working for a charity – being rude to residents.
It’s in the Manor Road area.
Angela Waters posted: “This woman knocking on doors in Manor Road was extremely rude when told this is a non cold call area.
“She was not wearing a face mask properly and would not say who she is working for”
Anita Pelling posted: “They’re from the Deaf Children charity. I told the girl who came to my house that we’re in the no cold call zone but she insisted that they have the council’s permission to canvas the area. She was polite though.”
