THIS is today’s warning from East Sussex health chiefs: ‘Don’t see people or make journeys that aren’t necessary.’

655 new COVID cases were reported in the last 7 days. This shows infection rates are increasing.

Of particular concern are Hastings and Rother areas. Both have seen significant increases in new cases.

East Sussex County Council said today: “We are still seeing a concerning rise in COVID-19 cases in areas of East Sussex.

“We can change this together and it’s vital you remember the restrictions.

“Don’t see people or make journeys that aren’t necessary, keep everyone safe in the run up to Christmas.”
