A fundraiser took place at the magnificent All Saints Chapel on Saturday 18th November. Many local schools and organisations took part, raising money for Eastbourne mayor Candy Vaughan’s charities Band Of Brothers and The Old Bank Wellbeing. 

The event was organised by community fundraisers Don and Abby McPhee. There were performances from Motcombe School choir, Ratton school and Cavendish school. Also performing were Seaside Singers and Eastbourne Mencap who provided peformances from Thriller, Grease and Ghostbusters. 

There were solo performances from the magnificent Hollie Poole and Jade Powers. Over 50 youngsters from Shining Stars Academy performed a mixture of tap, contemporary dance and musical theatre. The event was hosted by well known Eastbourne performer Jade Powers. 

Organiser Don McPhee said “It was a truly wonderful evening with so many outstanding performers. The atmosphere in this magnificent venue was amazing with a sold out audience.” 

Eastbourne mayor Candy Vaughan and MP Caroline Ansell were both in attendance. Don would like to thank all the local businesses who sponsored the event including Helix Law, Stephen Rimmer, Madeira windows, Abacus Flame, Ansvar Insurance, GM Monk, Sussex cars, PJ skips, Anchor insurance, A1 removals, Club class insurance and AMS.
