The Great British Barber Bash crew are heading to East Sussex College’s Eastbourne campus this month to showcase the finest cuts and techniques to Level 2 Barbering and Hairdressing students, and industry professionals.

The Great British Barber Bash comes to Eastbourne on Tuesday 24 January to put on a three-hour spectacle, demonstrating the latest cuts and styles in barbering. Models will be presented for the event, displaying the newest trends. 

Kings Restaurant will host the event. Doors open at 12.15pm and the show will continue until 4.30pm. Level 2 Barbering and Hairdressing students and relevant employers have been invited to this ‘enrichment-style’ event.

The Great British Barber Bash team regularly tour across the UK, creating magnificent hairstyles for men and women, while putting on an entertaining show in front of a live audience. The team previously put on a successful show at the College in 2022 when they visited the Lewes campus.

Allan Hyatt, Hairdressing Lecturer and Deputy Head of Curriculum for Business Services at East Sussex College, said, “This is an amazing opportunity for students to watch a live demonstration from the country’s leading Barbers, enriching their knowledge of modern trends and bridging the gap between college and the industry. Barbers will be on hand to discuss their techniques and show how to improve their skills based on the huge experience of all the barbers on stage.  

“It’s an opportunity for students to gain a wealth of information into the leading trends of today and they’ll learn how to maximise on tehri client potential and self-growth within the industry sector. Students will also take part in questions and answers, and be part of the Great British Barbers Bash vision and education.”
