Noah Canby, Liam Harris and Paul Manser have donated £2,821.17 to Eastbourne RNLI.

A Go Fund Me page was set up by Paul to help raise funds to replace Noah’s surfboard.

It was damaged/lost when Noah, Liam and Joe Peret came to assist the Inshore Lifeboat crew with the rescue of a person cut off by the tide on the beach below Belle Tout Lighthouse.

The Inshore Lifeboat unfortunately capsized so Noah, Liam and Joe then assisted in the rescue of the casualty until the Coastguard Helicopter arrived.

Eastbourne RNLI said: “We were extremely grateful they were there to help on that day. The response to the Go Fund Me has been astounding.

“We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who so kindly donated we are blown away and very humbled by all the donations to Paul’s Go Fund Me and to the RNLI’s appeal towards the repair cost of £5,450.

“We hope to get our Inshore Lifeboat Lawrence and Percy Hobbs back very soon in the meantime we have a relief Inshore Lifeboat The Marjorie Boneham on station.”
