Cash was targeted at a property off Freshford Close, Eastbourne in the small hours of Tuesday.
The homeowners in Langney woke to find their front door open and a search of their property conducted.
Police also say that ‘an educational building’ off Kings Drive was broken into in the small hours of the 17th.
Unknown suspects have gained entry by forcing open a skylight.
Once inside damage was caused and a vending machine broken into.
There was also an attempted burglary in the small hours of the 15th at a business address of Edward Road, Eastbourne.
Two youths have caused damage outside the property and were seen on CCTV attempting door handles of the property
