TWO hooded and masked men robbed the Cycle Tech shop in Pevensey Bay and stole children’s cancer charity money.

Cycle Tech has a shop at 1 Wallsend Road, Pevensey Bay,

They posted yesterday: “We were burgled last night at our new shop in Pevensey Bay.

“There were two thieves wearing hoodies and face masks and driving a white Ford Transit van.

“They stole a Mondraker Dusk RR electric MTB.

“Sadly for them, this one is faulty and awaiting return for a credit. Good luck selling it guys, the motor needs replacing and you forgot some significant bits needed to make it work, if it wasn’t broke.

“They also stole four Reid electric scooters valued at £149 each and a Raleigh Motus Grand Tour Low Step with a value of around £2300.

“Cash was stolen from my till, and from a charity box for a local children’s cancer charity.

“As welI as the stock, they took the laptop I use for my Epos, and the business PC.”

Police have been on the scene and are examining the CCTV footage.

It looks like the pair tried to start a fire shortly before leaving.
