A vigil honouring Sabina Nessa was held last night in Eastbourne – the town where the man suspected of murdering her was arrested last month.

Around 200 people gathered at the entrance of the pier in the seaside town, in East Sussex, to pay tribute to the school teacher and protest the ‘crisis of violence against women’.

Ms Nessa, 28, had been walking to meet a friend at a pub near her home when she was fatally attacked.
