PAUL Richards is Labour’s candidate for the General Election in Eastbourne:

‘I wasn’t born in Eastbourne. I chose it, for me and my family. I love our town, our shops and restaurants, our theatres and parks, and our beautiful coast.

But I know it could be so much better. That’s why I’m standing for change.

I want to reclaim the town centre by putting more neighbourhood police on the beat, by tackling shop theft, by scrapping business rates, and by reimagining buildings like Debenhams.

I want to punish Southern Water when they illegally pump sewage on our beach.

I believe everyone should have the NHS when they need it, so my policy is to cut waiting times and improve NHS dentistry.

After 14 years of the Tories, it is time for change.”
