AN Eastbourne computer repair service is offering free laptops for children who desperately need them.
LaptopRepair Eastbourne is working with Sussex MSK Partnership East, who have donated their old PC’s (without monitors).
LaptopRepair Eastbourne will completely wipe them and re-install Windows 10 and give them away to parents who need a PC to help their children complete school work.
A spokesman said: “There are only a small number of these (around 15 PC’s) and I will be doing this from my own pocket and not looking to make any money on these PCs.
I will also support these PCs for FREE for a whole year whilst we get through these uncertain times.
I want these PCs to go to children that need them the most, so if you know someone that could really benefit from one then please let them know and please share this so as many people as possible can know.
Please note that they do not come with monitors but will have all the cables, mouse and keyboard and will be set up by myself if required.”
Sussex MSK Partnership East are a unique local, not for profit partnership bringing together primary care, specialist musculoskeletal (muscles, joints and bones) care, community, mental health and well-being experts to deliver the whole musculoskeletal service in East Sussex.
