London Philharmonic Orchestra will deliver Eastbourne the perfect tonic for the post-Christmas blues as guitarist Miloš Karadaglić brings Spanish sunshine to Eastbourne on 15 January 2023.

Part of resident orchestra the London Philharmonic’s current season at the Congress TheatreMiloš Karadaglić performs two works conducted by Karen Kamensek: Rodrigo’s magical Concierto de Aranjuez and a piece written specially for him by David Bruce: The Peacock Pavane, which is a celebration of musical colour and grace.

David explains “The piece [Peacock Pavane] is a kind of response to the past [few years], it’s a tender ‘waiting’ kind of piece, capturing some of those feelings we’ve all felt as we wait for the moment we can happily reunite with our friends and family.”

Bruce has developed an international reputation as a composer. His work has been commissioned and performed all around the world including Carnegie Hall, Glyndebourne Opera House and the BBC Proms. He has written one-act operas, chamber operas and a series of mini-operas and been Associate Composer of the San Diego Symphony and Composer-in-Residence with the Royal Opera House.
