Longleaf, the wonderful health and wellbeing shop in Meads Street is now offering individually blended teas from a beautiful kiosk at the entrance to the store.

On hand to give you help and advice with your choices is Longleaf team member Larli who has a BSc in Western Herbal Medicine.

She honed her craft at Neal’s Yard Herbal Remedies, one of the pioneers of natural and organic products which started out in London’s Covent Garden in the 1980s.

Says Larli: ‘I am very excited about our new venture and very much looking forward to sharing my knowledge and passion about the benefits of herbal, black, and green teas with our customers. Our summer blend contains lemon verbena, elderflower, rosebuds, nettle leaves, and hawthorn tops – perfect for this time of year. We will be changing our blends every few months and once the lockdown is eased we will be running tasting sessions in the store.’

And those of us who may be unfamiliar with loose tea need not worry – Longleaf has thought of that and is also providing biodegradable tea bags.”
