A man is being treated for injuries sustained during an incident at a flat in Eastbourne.

At 5.30pm on Tuesday 23 March emergency services were called to the flat in Langney Road, Eastbourne, where the 29-year-old occupier had sustained one stab wound to his back, and head injuries.

He was taken to hospital and his condition is assessed as stable and not life threatening.

No arrests have been made at this stage but detectives are investigating and are actively following several lines of enquiry.

Officers believe that the people involved in this incident are known to each other.
