The first event in the town’s Christmas calendar will take place on Friday 24 November starting at 2.30 pm and finishing at 7.30 pm.

There are 41 stalls – so pay the area a visit today.

This year the Meads Magic team is working with the event management company Brighton Craft Fair. The Christmas market will be selling locally made jewellery, ceramics, Christmas decorations, cards and locally produced festive fare. It is the perfect place to find those unusual and extra special Christmas gifts and treats.

School choirs from Bede’s Prep, St Andrew’s Prep and St John’s Primary will be singing carols and there will also be performances by our much-loved local musicians, the Howlerz.

The highlight of the event is the Festive Parade down Meads Street when the Howlerz will lead Santa and his elves to his grotto for him to take over at around 4.30pm.

It’s a brilliant way to get into the spirit of Christmas!
