A key businessman is urging the community to help our pupils and back his Computers for Kids campaign.
Mike Crane wants to get 300 computers out to local children who currently cannot access online learning.
He’s spoken to local Heads and 300 is the gap. Mike wants everyone to come together to fill that gap.
Mike, of Crane and Co in Hailsham Town Centre, said: “Please get in touch with me today.
“There are different needs within different schools. That’s why I want people to either phone or email me so we can make a real difference.
“I want to talk with companies, businesses and individuals so we can all help.
“We have to do something now to help these young students and their schools.
“We have so far donated 36 through the Crane & Co Community Support Fund.
“Now we need the momentum to gather quickly with support from others so we can do more.
“This is about making a genuine difference for our pupils – a difference that really matters.
“We simply cannot afford for any child, regardless of their background, to be disadvantaged any further simply as a result of a not having access to a device.”
