Local mum and business owner, Jen Fisher brings a brand new and innovative style of networking to Eastbourne. Jen has been running her own business, Mini First Aid East Sussex, Brighton & Hove, for just over a year and has found networking to be an invaluable way to continue to grow her business.
Jen has recently become a networking leader for Mums In Business International (MIB Int) and welcomes all women in business, not just mums, to join their local Facebook community (Mums in Business Int. Networking Hastings, Bexhill & Eastbourne) and to attend the networking events that she will be hosting. The networking events are incredibly friendly and informal with no ‘suited and booted’ approach required, and best of all they are child friendly. Children of all ages are welcome to attend, which means the events are much more accessible to mums running business who ordinarily might not be able to network.
We have now been able to get back out and meet for two networking events which have been hosted by More Than Cake in Eastbourne.
‘I am really looking forward to getting our networking events happening monthly in Eastbourne and getting to meet so many more of our local businesswomen. I think this is going to be a great way for smaller business owners to grow and collaborate and see growth. I have had some incredible feedback from the women who have attended our first two events. Mums who felt that they couldn’t network because they didn’t have childcare, women who were anxious about being in a new group or small business who simply hadn’t been out promoted themselves have been able to come together to support each other. It’s an amazing feeling.’ – Jen Fisher
