VICTORIA Coffee Lounge – and wine bar – is new, and it’s set to be a massive success.

Emma, Tony and children Charlotte and Zoe are the team at the new business at 225 Terminus Road – the site of the former Mo Mambo restaurant.

They opened at the start of February and are optimistic about the year ahead.

Emma said: “We moved from Surrey four years ago and decided that we wanted to do something different.

“And this is it. It’s our first shop and we are determined to work very hard as a family and make it a success.

“We started work in October and we have given the whole site a complete refurbishment.

“We are pleased with how it looks and the feedback from customers has been very positive indeed.”

So what does it sell?

· Tea, coffee and hot chocolate

· Milkshakes

· Iced tea and coffee

· Iced coolers

· Frappuccinos

· Victoria shakes

· Oreo kinder bueno malteaser.

As for food, Tony said: “Our paninis are like no other, they are very special indeed.

“We also sell pastries, waffles and pancakes, and we are looking to develop our food offering in the coming months.”

Cream teas are also on the menu.

The coffee shop is open normal hours but it stays open until 11pm on Friday and Saturday as a wine/cocktail bar.

Emma said: “There is definitely a younger vibe with the bar in the evenings, and we have already noticed that weekends are busier.

“We are committed to doing what we do well and we want to give this end of Terminus Road another boost.

“We have outdoor seating and bifolding doors, meaning that once it gets warmer it will be very special here.

“We are very excited to be here and to see this end of Terminus Road flourish even more.”
