SHEIKH Avid Gulzar has let one of his Piers.

Music First Events took control of Hastings Pier on a short-term contract last summer.

Now it has done a deal with Mr G for three years.

He still owns Eastbourne and Hastings Piers.

Here’s Music First Events: “We’re so excited to finally announce our return to Hastings Pier!

After perhaps the longest and most depressing winter in known memory, the dream of a summer of socialising, dancing, events, live gigs, football & fun looks set to be a reality!

Some of you may be aware that last summer Music First Events took control of Hastings Pier on a short-term contract,
We are confident most of you will agree that it was a major success despite the restrictions we operated under.

Well we are proud to announce that we have now taken on a three year lease and we have plans to make those years very memorable for all of us!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that visited us and all those that worked alongside us last year, at a time when the world was uncertain we certainly created some wonderful memories!

We have always believed that Hastings is the most wonderful place to live and that our beloved Pier is the jewel in its crown, last summer confirmed that for us, but… It was just the start!

So, the gates open on Monday 12th April at 12pm and they shall stay open seven days a week.Updates will be coming thick and fast over the coming weeks, keep em peeled!

Peace & Love to all… See you soon!James & Tuffy”
