WELL, I guess it could have been worse…
There had been some fears that Sussex and indeed then Eastbourne could have been put into Tier 3.
Our figures have, after all, been going up.
So Tier 2 it is then with no household mixing indoors.
There will still be the rule of six outdoors and at least pubs and restaurants will be able to reopen – and later than 10pm.
And there will be some spectators allowed at sports games and outdoor events. Hurrah.
For many it’s a confusing and frustrating time but we all have just have to get on with it the best we can.
We are still in the middle of a pandemic though there is light at the end of the tunnel with the vaccine.
Of course, Christmas mixing could put up back into Lockdown 3 come January. Let’s hope not.
Eastbourne traders deserve a busy time in the run up to Christmas so shop local where you can.
And let’s abide by the rules………….
