OUR Eastbourne Cat Cafe story yesterday has sparked a huge reaction.
We reported The Mad Catter – Vintage Cat Cafe has had to close once more now we are in Tier 4.
And it is asking for public donations to help it survive at its base in Station Parade in the town centre.
Opinion has been split from more than 100 comments. Here’s a sample of them.
Sandra Griffin: If they can’t afford to keep the cats then they need to be re homed.
Vikki ThomasThey should be shut down.I’ve be there and not impressed at all.
Leo Ezra PriestCat cafes are good ideas for cats that need socialising and finding new homes…. making them live in a shop is sad….
Penny Saunders The owners of cafe are there all day everyday during lockdown, to keep cats company and play with them!
Tracy GoldsmithI would happily donate cat food etc but not money . And surely the cats should be in there home while the business is not open.
