RESIDENTS reported police activity in the early hours overnight.
Police boxed a car in at the Polegate traffic lights and it appears there was one person outstanding.
A search of the area then took place, including the police helicopter.
One resident has posted: “There were people searching the park with torches too, and police cars looking for something/ someone around 1:30 Heron Ridge way. I hope everything okay, doesn’t sound good does it?”
