THE Pilot Inn in Meads has decided to ease restrictions from today.

It describes today as ‘Happy Monday’ and says:

“We wanted to let you all know how we will be moving forward with the easing of restrictions today.

Masks are no longer compulsory to wear in and around the pub. Our staff policy in regards to mask wearing masks will be as follows. If you are double jabbed you do not need to wear a mask or face covering unless the individual wants to.

Track and trace is no longer a requirement however if you would like to continue to check in please feel free to scan on arrival.

There will be no limit on numbers on tables and walk ins are welcome however to avoid disappointment give us a call to book a table for you.

Drinking at the actual bar is now allowed so feel free to pop along after work for a quick pint.

The most important part is that we will continue to clean and sanitise for the safety of our staff and customers. This is paramount. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.”
